Another morning without facebook, though this time I don't feel that great or excited! I slept horribly last night, my back is really hurting today, and its Wednesday- which means taking the kids to dance class AND working until 8. Trying to let go of dread...hopefully it will end up being a great day!
Today, I'll try for 3 things that need follow through.
1. Dreamcatcher- need to finish making it!
2. Painting the porch- need to finish painting!
3. Bathroom project- also, needs paint.
Obviously, I can't do these things today. But here they are for follow through on the weekend!
until tomorrow... jet

Let it go...let it go...
As I scroll down my pinterest feed this morning, I realize...
there is so much to learn in this lifetime.
Why do we waste our time on the petty things? the drama? holding onto emotions that don't help us?
Morning 3 without facebook...instead I slept an extra 30 minutes, oil pulled for my teeth and gums, washed my face, enjoyed my morning cup of Earl Grey (organic, delicious!) and had a nice chat with Craig.
Today, here are 3 things that I will practice letting go:
1- dread. the feeling of dread, or waiting to do something that im not super excited about KILLS me. I waste so much time just hating the fact that in 8 hrs, 3 hrs, 1 hr, I have to be ready to work/errands/whatever. I want to fill my time with meaningful activities, right down to the last minute!
2- nervous/bored habits. I have a lot of weird ticks because I cant sit still! it seems like my hands need to be constantly doing something. messing with hair, messing with nosering, messing with fingernails, messing with face, messing with whatever im holding...
instead, I will find a mudra to practice whenever im sitting still.
3- disclaimers. I noticed last night that when im asking for something that I need- help, attention, backrub, whatever- I always end with a disclaimer that gives the person a chance to back out and not contribute, without putting the blame on them. When I give my little "or if you can't/won't/don't feel like it, that's fine too" I'm basically saying "I need this, BUT I don't. carry on." I really want to get better at truly asking for what I need, and this is a first step.
should be an interesting day! happy Tuesday~ jet

Gettin' stuff done!
Even though it was QUITE chilly this morning (about 43 degrees already, burrrr) I've been able to get up and get a bunch of stuff accomplished. I know, life isn't about the stuff we mark off the list. But damn it feels good to be productive on a Monday morning!
Here's 3 things I'm proud of today...
1. I listed all of my new jewelry on etsy, finally! Hopefully I'll get a few more sales before the end of the year.
2. I'm proud that I've learned how to dry my own peppers and herbs for spices and tea! What fun!
3. I'm proud that I stick to my morals, my principle, no matter what. I do good, and I receive good! Life is beautiful.
This is my second morning without going right to facebook. HOW FREEING! It really feels nice to begin my day without the temptation to get stuck in a world that doesn't really "exist". I do miss a few connections, but, those people know how to find me. :)
Onward with the day, this should be a great week!

New
Well, I'm trying something new.
as usual.
obviously, my 365 day photo journal ended at day 34...i'm not great at long term commitments, ok?
So, in the spirit of moving forward, I will try to just post something each day. I'm staying away from facebook and all of the evils it brings for a while. Maybe forever.
Today, I post this. 3 things that I am thankful for.
1. the sun shining today, warming us up and watching over us.
2. a well stocked kitchen. craig always makes sure we have everything we need to eat healthy all the time.
3. the ability to heal and evolve. i'm feeling a shift in me lately and weight dropping off my shoulders.
